Elementary Skills Exploration

“The Trades Trailer” will be visiting Elementary Schools throughout the year to deliver project based learning opportunities as well as introducing students to trades and applied skills career options. The BIG idea is “What is a Trade?”

This Program involve mentorship opportunities from both our trades students from VIU, our Intro To Trades district program as well as local trades people sharing their skills and knowledge.

Tool Box Projects 

These projects are specifically designed for parents and teachers to be able to do with their kids with household materials

Each project will have:

1. 1. A set of instruction with diagrams or pictures,
2. 2. List of Materials,
3. 3. Age target group,
4. 4. Assessment tools (if wanted).
5. 5. Curricular connections.
